Group Collage Exhibition: {Suite} Ponsonby

A medium comprised of a variety of images taken from different printed sources, collage has its modern origins in the 20th century. Artists including Picasso and Braque glued chopped up newspaper and other images of unrelated subject matter onto their canvases and charcoal drawings to introduce both a serious and wry sensibility to their artwork. 

This exhibition at {Suite} Ponsonby includes a group of artists working with collage. On show are works by {Suite} artists Megan Archer, Wayne Youle, and Rob Cherry as well as guest artists Katherine Claypole and Cliff McPherson.
