A selection of war dioramas by Richard Lewer will be included in the ‘Art in Conflict’ touring survey exhibition of contemporary art from the collection of the Australian War Memorial.
Opening at SH Ervin Gallery in Sydney on Saturday 21 August 2021, this exhibition explores the roles of contemporary art at the Memorial and what artists bring to the public understanding of the complexity and consequences of conflict. It is the first time in many years that such an exhibition has been toured by the Memorial.
