Overview
{Suite} Gallery Director David Alsop has had a long association with photographer Ans Westra, which began in 2007 after she was invited to exhibit prints at the newly-opened gallery. In 2012 they established Suite Tirohanga together to act as agent for Ans, with David taking on the role of manager of her print archive and copyright.
On show now at {Suite} Ponsonby are a selection of archival pigment prints that have been produced following a project between {Suite} and the National Library of New Zealand to digitise Ans’ negative archive. The archival pigment prints of black and white and colour images are produced in an edition of 25 and can be purchased framed or unframed. These images are all stamped on the reverse.
