{Suite} artist Jeffrey Harris' exhibition The Gift is now showing at Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū.
This show celebrates one of New Zealand's most acclaimed painters and includes recent gifts to the Gallery's collection from Patricia Bosshard-Browne and Kobi Bosshard. Alongside the eight paintings and drawings from Bosshard-Browne and one drawing from Bosshard, The Gift is complemented by several paintings and etchings by Jeffrey already held in the Gallery's collection, including two recently acquired paintings completed at Barrys Bay in 1975. Patricia's gift has enabled the Christchurch Art Gallery to more fully represent Jeffrey's work as an artist and acknowledge his strong connections to the Canterbury region and the South Island.
